Cosmological Economics and Gann Analysis are subjects that are even more challenging than the most advanced forms of technical analysis, and are only learned through deep study, hard work and long experience trading. With this context outlined, let’s briefly review our group of Showcased Authors, identifying the specific focus and expertise of each, along with the goal of their particular teaching, starting with the most important and influential authors, and first of all with the great market master and grandfather of Cosmological Economics, W. D. Gann.

Financial market trader William Delbert Gann produced the greatest documented trading record in history back in his 1909 month of audited trading for The Ticker & Investment Digest. Gann’s vast and complex theory, the Law of Vibration, claims that the markets are controlled by subtle energetic forces of causation, which can be mathematically calculated and used to project turning points in the future with uncanny accuracy.  W.D. Gann was a pioneer in the discipline of technical analysis and his work still offers insights for investors and traders.  

Most of the authors showcased by the Institute of Cosmological Economics are either inspired by Gann, are directly decoding Gann, or like Gann are seeking to discover a scientific system of order and/or causation behind market phenomena. W. D. Gann’s work is scoured and analyzed in the most intricate detail in the search for clues to reveal the mechanics behind his system. The catalog of the Institute of Cosmological Economics has the largest collection of original Gann books, courses, tools, interpretations, techniques, systems and source works available anywhere in the world. The Showcased Authors represent the top experts in the field of Cosmological Economics and Gann Theory, and their work forms the core course material in our catalog.

Dr. Jerome Baumring is the foremost figure in our tradition, following Gann.  Dr. Baumring studied the Gann system, leading to the development of his 1980’s course, Gann Harmony: The Law of Vibration. The Sacred Science Institute and Institute of Cosmological Economics websites are inspired by, and are the only authorized representatives of, the work of Dr. Jerome Baumring and his school, which we call Cosmological Economics. Most of the books available from the Institute of Cosmological Economics are the source works required for reference and research for Baumring’s Seminar Series. All of the most advanced Gann analysts who understand the Law of Vibration came to it through the work of Baumring.

Following in the Baumring tradition are researchers Dr. Lorrie Bennett and Catalin Plapcianu, who have probed deeply into Gann theory and are two of the most recent authors to join the Institute of Cosmological Economics.

Dr. Bennett integrates the range of natural and esoteric sciences into a synthesized field of knowledge approached from four different angles in her four volume Law of Vibration Series, which elucidate Gann’s system.  First, she introduces the Patterns behind market formations showing how they are created by underlying wave mechanics. From there she deciphers Gann’s system of 13 Sacred Numbers showing how this master set controls the markets. Volume 3, Planets, will develop a new system of astrology based upon the Ancients that fills in the missing signals overlooked by most astrologers. And the final volume, Geometry, will synthesize these sciences in a geometric ordering system behind the market.

The work of Catalin Plapcianu seeks an underlying mechanism or engine behind the market, creating a model of structure and action that can be calculated as it rotates through multi-dimensional space/time (price/time). His three Volume series develops Gann’s Theory of the Squaring of Price and Time in 3-Dimensional space, each volume addressing one dimension of Price, Time and Price/Time respectively. Plapcianu translates his models into algorithms which he then programs into automated trading systems which are available through subscription Apps.

Eric Penicka, who, though not a student of Baumring, followed a similar path of research as Baumring and Dr. Lorrie Bennett did, developing a theory of the Law of Vibration as applied to the Periodic Table of Elements. Penicka presents a solution as to how Gann traded in his 1909 Ticker interview using principles of chemical elements and vibration, integrated with principles of harmonics. This fascinating work creates a chemical/harmonic matrix upon which market growth is structured and organized and merges atomic and music theory with the work of John Ernst Worrell Keely.

With regard to Gann Theory, Trading & Astrological Experts we will overview the Hasbrouck Archives first, since Muriel and Louis Hasbrouck are the only historical figures in this group, having worked back in the mid-20th century. Muriel Hasbrouck had deep associations with many of the great esoteric and market thinkers of her day, and desired to reform the field of “astrology” into a more scientific study of celestial mechanics and solar forces. Muriel and Louis Hasbrouck were pioneering researchers into the relationship between solar forces, space-time dynamics and the behavior of the financial markets.

Using ancient observations, Muriel Hasbrouck discovered a set of solar cycles which she called Solar Field Forces, which when analyzed in relationship with planetary positioning were responsible for producing disturbances in space weather, with resultant geomagnetic effects on Earth resulting in both geophysical and tectonic destabilization, as well as producing fluctuations in the mass psychology behind the financial markets. The Hasbrouck work presents cutting edge discoveries that are still new in the field of Solar science, astrophysics, economics, geology, weather, and more.

Daniel T. Ferrera is our most long-standing author, being the first new author we published after the Baumring material and reference works. A specialist in Gann Cyclical Theories, Dan Ferrera’s work is extremely popular both with new and seasoned traders due to its clear explanations and great practicality. Unlike the Baumring school, Ferrera is not so much trying to “crack Gann” as to understand and make use of his many practical technical analysis and cyclical tools. Ferrera has the mind of an engineer who deconstructs Gann’s technical tools, then rebuilds them even better, laying out the mechanics and logic of each technique and creating tools to make them more functional. Ferrera’s series of courses presents the equivalent of a master’s degree in Gann Analysis, and will save researchers many years of work. Ferrera’s series of trading courses both lay the foundations of trading for beginners while providing sophisticated analytical and forecasting tools for professionals. A top market forecaster and expert in market analysis, Daniel Ferrera produces a yearly Outlook, now in its second decade, which provides a forecast of the general stock market.

Gordon Roberts is a 20 year Gann student and trader who presents a simplified approach to Gann Analysis that anyone can understand and apply, stripping out the complexity to identify significant major and intermediate trade setups. Cambridge scholar  Dr. Alexander Goulden specializes in the history of science and the integration of science and metaphysical principles of energy. Upon a challenge, he set out to explore the basis of Gann’s system, and then developed a new set of similarly derived technologies which complement Gann’s tools, but provide a secondary level of noncorrelated signals also based upon Pythagorean geometry, harmonics and celestial mechanics. His astrological research into the systems of the ancients has led to a revolutionary new work on AstroEconomics reviving lost techniques from the Ancient Wisdom with new applications to modern financial forecasting.

Daniele Prandelli is a pure trader through and through. As such, all his work and techniques are extremely practical and are tools that he uses for his day to day swing trading. If they do not apply, he does not use them. Prandelli has spent over a decade refining his trading methodology, and his two courses present the set of tools he has developed, a price-based tool based upon planetary harmonics, and a time-turn model based upon Gann’s cycle theory and modeling approach.

W. D. Gann initiated all his students into trading using a swing system with a set of simple and clear rules that any beginner could follow to develop a core skill in trading. However, Gann only presented his swing trading system briefly and it was not easy to understand. Timothy Walker collected 15 years of US Steel data from microfiche, then analyzed Gann’s swing trades from 1917-1932. He then breaks down the logic of every rule and presents with great clarity the detailed mechanics of Gann’s original swing trading system.

Sean Erikson spent 25 years as a professional trader and fund manager during which time he developed a set of astronomical and geometrical tools used for swing trading in any time frame from longer term to intraday.
